"1000-to-1 Club Members"
This page honors those players who have won at least ten consecutive matches at the club, since the beginning of 2001. (Unfortunately, records are not available for matches prior to 2001).
If you were to assume a player has an even chance to win any given match, then the odds of winning ten consecutive matches is one-half (1/2) to the tenth power, or 1 out of 1,024. That is, the odds are over a thousand-to-one against this happening, given this assumption. Hence the name, "1000-to-1 Club". This is a rare and difficult accomplishment!
